About The Ark

The Ark Playday Centre was originally founded by Norma Stokes in 1987 and has grown and changed over the years. The Ark was taken over by the Treehouse Housing Association in 2007.

We are a licensed childcare center and are partially funded by the BC government through the $10 a day program.

The Ark is now run by a volunteer board of directors whose mission it is to provide quality childcare services to families in the Bulkley Valley.
